More Travels.. and Random Chatter
by ChristerI’m home for the weekend after being in Phoenix for the week. The weather was nice and warm–T-shirt weather in January is nothing to complain about! I’m taking off again on Sunday evening for Seattle, and then I’ll be home for two weeks.
Marzee asked what it is that I do for work so I guess I’ll mention that. I am an instructor, so I travel around and teach classes on how to use Linux. Everything from beginner basics to advanced network security for military contractors. This last week I taught a class on System Administration, next weeks is a fast-track toward certification course. I really enjoy it. It isn’t Ubuntu specific–I don’t even teach Ubuntu yet but that is still what I do heavily as a volunteer. I primarily each for Redhat, which is the largest Linux provider in north america.
I’m taking it easy this weekend and keeping out of the Utah Snow.. preparing for the Seattle rain.
(CHUCKLE) So funny to think of you as a teacher (instructor) – not that you wouldn’t be great at it . . . . I’m sure you’re awesome – it’s computers – of course you’re great. I just chuckle because I picture the image of you as an instructor next to the one in my head of us playing mortal combat on the computer in your room. I miss that. It was fun.
