Guess What? It rains a lot in Seattle…
by ChristerSo I’m in Seattle this week teaching another class. This one should be pretty easy. Only 6 students is easier than the 12 I had in Phoenix last week. I think it’ll be a nice week.
I got a really nice hotel this week. “The travel gods have smiled upon me!” Maybe I’ll get some pictures and upload them here.
I don’t know what there is to do up here this week, but as usual its rainy and dreary so I feel like being inside. I guess I’ve acclimated to Utah. If it rains, you go inside.. quite different than growing up in the NW originally.
I just thought I’d post something.. if you have any suggestions on what I should see or do while I’m here leave a comment. I should try to see more sights, as easy as it is to just relax in the hotel room I won’t be doing this forever and may not get a lot of chances.
How long will you be there? I know something SUPER FUN that you could do . . . come and see us! (Your response should be: Woo-hoo! – cheers – standing ovation!) It’s only a 3 hour drive if you want to come down and visit (do you even get a car?). I know long shot, but it would be fun to see you again. Jon still remembers you from the mission – passing in the airport, MTC, or something. Small world. Anyway – should you ever be this way – you should stop in or give us a call. You’d at least get a home cooked meal.
You lived in Oregon all that time and forgot all the rain of the NW? I bet you don’t miss the rain. LOL. I wouldn’t miss it.
You have to go to that Cow Chips cookie place that Burgess suggested. Also- check out the Space Needle (400 Broad St)- take pictures so that I can see it too!
