False Alarms

by Christer

So we just spent the last three hours or so in the hospital feeling like something might have been happening.  Turns out Cat’s getting to the “hurts like the dickens” stage but unfortunately its not the “ready to go” stage.  It was worth a try though and it can’t hurt to be safe.  I’m calling it our dry-run, this time I know where to go and what to do.  Practice, and all that.

I’m sure we’ll let you know when it does happen, but I hope we don’t have too many more of these.  Let’s get it done!

  1. I am all for Catherine having the baby today! I would love a sweet girl born on my birthday! Hope you can have the real thing soon for Catherine’s sake. These last couple of weeks are no fun being pregnant.

  2. The day before we had Eli – we were all out in the wilds . . . fishing and having fun. In retrospect . . . not the smartest thing to do when you’re about ready to have a baby. We were at least an hour’s drive from any hospital. So – stay close to the hospital – and let us know, we’re all on pins and needles!
