From couch to 5k

So I’ve been reading Janelle’s blog and thinking about how incredible she is!  I envy her determination. I know it takes alot of hard work to get where she is now in the athletic world but I’m going to take a huge step and try to get there too.

I think if you had asked me a couple weeks ago what my activity level was I probably would have said moderate. Lately I’ve been extra tired being pregnant and although I know a good run would boost my energy- As soon as I see Addison’s eyes close, I’m right there with her (most of the time..). With that said I thought that the title of this training was perfect for me- From Couch to 5K (in 2 months).

Of course I have enlisted Christer against his will but I really need someone to motivate me when I don’t want train and to be my buddy and share in our accomplishment. I hope you’re up to the task my love!

So I am encouraging any of you who would like to join us in this adventure to do it! Also let us know so that we can help each other out. The website I’ll give you lists the “training” and it really sounds simple. It’s never more than 30 minutes 3x a week. Let me know what you think :)

    I love the challenge. I have been really inactive since we moved to Logan. I am actually going to try and do a 5K in May. I look forward to the updates and I am going to check out the link! I know I definately need to get off the computer chair!

    You’re sweet Cat. I think you could TOTALLY do a 5K! There is something about running with a whole bunch of people that makes it a little bit easier…at least on the day of the race! Good luck…we are EXCITED to see you guys!!
